Few questions about crafting and skills

1) Are the results of crafting completely random, or do they take into account the stats of the item(s) you sacrifice ?

2) Can you reset your skills, and if so; when and how ?

I would hate to start over just because I didn't have the foresight to know how the game works so I chose "inferior" skills.

Hi!

The result of crafting is not random. It takes the last item you sacrifice and creates an item of the same type. So for example, if you complete the anvil with a ring, it will create an epic ring.

And yes, you can reset your skills whenever you want. You can simply open your skill tree and click on the "default Setting" button in the left-bottom, and then choose new skills.
