Online play?

I know Steam is required, but once you get the game installed, do you have to have a live Internet connection to play the game? I have a horrible Internet connection (satellite broadband) and many games that require a constant connection will not work for me because of the flaky connection and 700ms+ lag. Will Aarklash let me play offline once the game is installed once I am validated by Steam (like if my connection drops after the game is launched for instance)?

You don't need an internet connection while you play the game, it's only required for the launch via Steam. No worries to have on that level
